The carrots, the parsley root and the parsnip are peeled, washed and chopped; the onion is also chopped. The borsch is boiled and filtered. The fish (without entrails) is washed and portioned. The levisticum and the green parsley are washed and chopped. The tomatoes are cleaned, washed, soaked in boiled water, peeled and cut into slices. The tomatoes paste is dissolved in a little water.
The cut vegetables are boiled in salted water. After boiling, the tomatoes paste and the borsch is added. After roughly 5 minutes the fish pieces are added and they are boiled together. The foam is removed, the tomatoes are added and they are boiled for about 5 more minutes. In the end the greenery is added.
